World Language Newsletter - Volume 2

The Ann Arbor Language Partnership (A2LP) is a collaborative effort between the Ann Arbor School District and the Teacher Education Program at the University of Michigan School of Education. Our beliefs include a commitment to plurilingualism and language diversity, to learning in and beyond the classroom, and to the support of language-diverse students who are English learners in our schools.

For this 2009-10 school year, apprentice teachers from the U of M are mentored by our own Media Specialists for 60 minutes of learning each week. For more information, please refer to our World Language brochure on the district web site http://www.aaps.k12.mi.us in the Curriculum Resource section in Especially for Parents. Other questions and comments may be directed to your child’s school principal.
