Dear King Families:
The Silent Auction is one month away--save your pennies and hoard your allowance because we've got some very special offerings this year. In our corporate side you'll see old favorites as well as some new and interesting offerings. Ethnic dinners, parties, and other creative talents are part of our wonderful King Family Donations.
In the upcoming weeks, we are going to preview featured items; here's a small sample of some great items.
UM Basketball Tickets (MSU Game and state bragging rights), a Charles Woodson Fathead (Wall Sticker), Private Stringed Instrument Lessons (from a King parent and member of the A2 symphony ), and much.... much.... much... more - stay tuned!
Two quick points as we head into Spring Break.
- Do you like a quick registration process, an organized food line, and a check out that moves quickly? All this is possible with VOLUNTEERS. Please sign up for a 30 minute slot. Silent Auction Volunteer Sign Up
- We don't have much time - but we are accepting cover art from King student artists! Have your kids draw a 3" x 2" picture of their FAVORITE PTO SPONSORED EVENT. For a full listing check out the chair listing in your directory - ideas are International Night, Ice Cream Social, Classroom Support, 5k Run... etc. The auction exists to support these programs - we thought it would be fun to have some kid art showing this on the cover. Put a name, and indicate the event on the back. Use magic marker or really dark pencil. Four will be selected.
